What Dallas Homeowners Say About Us

I had the greatest experience from Acorn Roofing. They really took care of me and did a bang up job on my house. Chris Drye and Noah Brunson Are the best after my insurance turned down my claim at first they did all the work to get my claim approved and did a hell a job on my roof pictures attached. They are professional and very responsive to any questions you might have through the process.

We recently noticed a small leak coming from our roof and decided to reach out to Acorn Roofing based on their great Google reviews—and they absolutely lived up to them. Jack, the owner, was very communicative from the start. He returned my call promptly and was able to come out the same day, which we really appreciated. He and his team performed a thorough inspection of the entire roof and quickly identified the source of the issue. Not only did they seal the small leak that was causing the problem, but they also did it free of charge. On top of that, they pointed out some mistakes made by the original contractor (or possibly a previous repair) that we had no idea about. Their knowledge and attention to detail really gave us confidence in their work. Overall, a very honest, professional, and knowledgeable team. Highly recommend Acorn Roofing to anyone dealing with roof issues!

Had my roof done by them after a bad storm in August. Very knowledgeable on helping and explaining everything that needed to be done. They also worked with my insurance company and explaining the details of the report and estimate what the insurance and myself would pay. They placed covers around the house to protect the house and lawn. The workers they have take pride in their work. Looking for someone to do your roof I recommend 100%. Thank you Noah, Chris and Jack for guiding me through this process.

After the latest windstorm we called Acorn roofing and JJ was out first thing Monday morning. He patched up some spots where we were missing shingles to get us through and did a thorough inspection. He was knowledgeable, polite, and professional and most importantly honest. Highly recommend! Updating my review, Acorn Roofing did a fantastic job replacing my roof and gutters! They made sure everything was done quickly and to our satisfaction. They definitely went above and beyond every step of the way. Despite being all the way in Rowlet, anytime we had a question, Jack was out bright and early the next day to deliver a solution! Our house is the best on the block now!

Highly recommend Acorn roofing! They came to South Texas and replaced the roof on our home and what a difference its made! Extremely professional, timely and great customer service. Need a repair or looking for a roof give Noah a call, you won’t regret it! Tell ‘em Mama B sent ya! 😉

Jack with Acorn Roofing is the best in the business, hands down. We had a massive tree limb fall on our roof during the storm on May 28th, which then caused a leak in our kitchen. As soon as it was safe, Jack booked it over to our house to begin patching up the roof and did a phenomenal job!!

Called Jack at 8:30 AM this morning with a roof leak and he responded immediately and said he was available on the same day around 12:30 PM. Immediately identified where the leak in our roof was and even though it was raining, he went on the roof and repaired and tarpped the place where we had lost a couple shingles. He is a very hard worker with a great attitude. I would highly recommend him for any roof repairs. He is coming back next week to complete the job with new shingles.

Absolute best roofing company around. Extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful, and well priced. I recommend them to everyone that will listen to me!

I called Acorn Roofing for an emergency roof repair after our last hail storm. They answered on the first ring in what must have been a very busy time for them. I could see light coming in through the roof. They were at my house within the hour and immediately placed a tarp on my roof until the crew arrived to repair the chimney. We have a lot of storms and I have never seen a roofing company take such care of the entire property while under repair. They walked me through the entire insurance claim process and they are taking care of the complete roof replacement. Thanks to the entire Acorn Roofing team!

Acorn’s crew came through with not only an amazing job but true professionalism. With a quick turn around they were able to get a new roof up for our house in less than a day. They took time to make sure the job was done right, the details were what set it apart. Highly recommend their team if you are in need of repair or replacement!

Had a couple of leaks on my roof around vent pipes. Called Acorn around 10:00 am left a voice mail, they called back within 5 minutes. Shared my roof issues with them and they had a very sharp young man named Noah out to my house within 45 minutes. He appeared very knowledgeable and fixed my issues, made a couple of other minor upgrade suggestion which I agree should be done in the near future. Bottom line he was very nice, professional and knew what he was doing and did not try and pressure sell me any other repairs. We will need a new roof at some point and I will not hesitate to call them again.

What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and cleanliness. The crew made sure to protect my property during the work and left the site spotless once the project was completed. It's clear that Acorn roofing & construction takes pride in their work and values customer satisfaction. Overall, I highly recommend Acorn roofing & construction to anyone in need of roofing services. They are reliable, professional, and deliver top-notch results. Thank you, Acorn roofing & construction, for a job well done!

I gave Acorn a call when I was having an issue I wasn’t sure how to resolve. The owner, Jack, answered the phone and gave me some simple step by step guidance as it turned out to be something easy enough for me to fix myself. He was very friendly about it and the advice he gave me was free of charge! He definitely has the customer’s best interest in mind, and I’ll definitely be working with Acorn when I need services for a project I can’t do on my own. Thanks, Jack!

Acorn Roofing did an awesome job on my roof repair. After a big storm, I had leaks and needed help fast. They were super quick, friendly, and knew what they were doing. My roof looks great now! If you need a good roofing company, go with Acorn Roofing.

Acorn Roofing was professional and efficient repairing my roof after a storm. They did a great job and gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend!

I had a few different Roofing companies come out to quote my roof before deciding to go with the team at Acorn. They were honest, knowledgeable and their pricing was fair. I really appreciated the owner being hands on throughout the process and answering any of our questions. Most of all, they were detailed in all of their work, including the clean up process which my neighbors appreciated.

Cant thank Jack enough from Acorn Roofing. Wind storms that came through took off some shingles and ridge caps. Long story short, fair price, good work and didn't BS me at all. I'll be having them come back for additional work and will be recommending them to anyone else that asks. If you are looking for a honest company that does the work needed while looking out for your interests you just found them.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Acorn Roofing to replace my roof after a bad hail storm. The entire process was seamless and stress-free. The team was professional, courteous, and efficient. They arrived on time and completed the job within the promised timeframe. The quality of their work was exceptional, and they even went above and beyond to ensure that the area around my home was clean and tidy after the job was done. I was impressed by their attention to detail and their commitment to customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Acorn Roofing to anyone in need of roofing services.

I called Acorn Roofing and Construction and Jack was out within 30 minutes from my initial call! He was great and attentive to the issues I’ve had with the house after the recent storms. He did a full inspection of the roof and also inspected an area in my garage for me. He gave me advice and recommendations on what should be done to fix the issues. 10/10 recommend. Knowledgeable, honest, and reliable!

Joey did an excellent job of inspecting our roof and giving me a very straight evaluation of the work that had been done on our house and where our roof was at as far as longevity and damage. Joey and his associates were very friendly and courteous and even sealed up a couple things while they were here. I will definitely be contacting Joey with Acorn in the future for my roofing needs.

I recently had my roof replaced by Jack Waddell with Acorn Roofing and construction in Addison. They did an excellent job! They were reliable, dependable, and prompt. If there were any concerns, Jack was out within hours of my phone call to handle anything. My property was left spotless when it was all finished. I can highly recommend them without any reservation to anyone who is thinking of using them.

Jack and his team did a great job on our roof replacement. He had to work through several issues with our insurance carrier, and he was able to negotiate all of it on our behalf. The work was done quickly and the follow up was very professional. Great work.

We saw Acorn working on another roof in our neighborhood after the storm, so we asked them to come check out our roof that had damage. They came same day and provided a quote right away! They were so professional and knowledgeable! Every single worker/person on this team was incredible and helpful. I really felt like they cared for us and our family by their sense of urgency to get our roof fixed ASAP. I will be using Acorn from here on out! Thank you guys!!!

Jack did a great job. Arrived on time, was professional and very thorough. I was extremely satisfied with the value of the work preformed, and have referred him to several neighbors given the high level of service provided.

I don't normally do reviews but Jack Waddell deserves it. I called for inspection for repair of our roof on Saturday and got scheduled Monday. After climbing and inspecting our whole roof and attic, he gave me possible reasons of the leak with photos but not straight away wanted to replace portions of the shingles with crack. He just sealed them FREE of charge and just asked me to monitor during rain and if problem is still there, he will come back and check again. Highly recommended for anyone who's afraid of getting ripped off. Thanks again Jack.

Knowing that complete roofing jobs are expensive and twice as expensive if you deal with the wrong contractor, we shopped around. Fortunately, good friends recommended Acorn Roofing. I was put in contact with Mr. Jack. He and his crew worked diligently through our Texas heat and provided us a beautiful metal roof. Thanks to Mr. Jack and Acorn Roofing, we will have a roof that will endure our harsh weather.

Noah was on time, did a free quality in depth evaluation of my roof and possible concrete work. Gave a great estimate for repairs and was knowledgeable and informative on what we needed. He did not go "fishing" for dollars like other construction companies. I will definitely go with these guys for repairs!

Acorn Roofing and Construction is incredibly professional and trustworthy, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work truly sets them apart — highly recommended!

We had to get a new roof based on an inspection we had done. We called Acorns and Jack came out first thing Monday morning! Said we were clear to get insurance involved. We didn’t end up needing to get a new roof but thank you for your quick response and how fast you were able to inspect it!

Jack and his team were quick to respond, knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the process as well as pointed out other things on my roof I did not know needed fixing and things that previous roofers had messed up. They were prompt, quick to complete the job while being extremely thorough and made sure I was informed every step of the way. 10/10 would recommend to any others in the DFW area and I will definitely be choosing them as my preferred roofer for any other job in the future.

Jack and his crew were volunteering to clean up our street after the recent storm when we discovered a huge tree limb had fallen on our roof. Not only did Jack offer to go up and check it out, but he also removed the massive branches and hauled them away. When I asked him how much I owed, he refused to take any payment. This speaks volumes about his commitment to the community and his excellent skills. We will be enthusiastically recommending his services to everyone who needs roofing work done.

Jack with Acorn Roofing has been a professional compared to other roofing companies I have spoken to. You won’t be disappointed by choosing Jack at Acorn

Jack was super helpful and clearly explained everything to us! You’re in good hands with Acorn Roofing!

Jack Waddell, and Acorn Roofing is hands down the most professional guy in the business. Super quick to answer his phone and very fair with his rates. He was super quick to come down to Ennis, We’ve had him do everything from a roof, to hunting lockers, and his work is top notch. Highly recommend him.

Love the job these guys do! I live in a 2 story house in Addison and had Acorn roofing come out to fix my roof and fence. The team was super efficient and really knew what they were doing. They fixed up the roof quickly, making it look like new, and the fence repair was top-notch too. Really happy with their work and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roof or fence repairs.

After the crazy hail storm the other night in Dallas, I called Acorn Roofing and Construction. They came out the very next morning and made sure everything was ok. Jack was great. Did a full inspection and told me that my roof took a little bit of damage but everything was ok. Very honest, very friendly, amazing service, and over all a great experience. I would highly recommend.

Outstanding service and craftsmanship. They were up front and honest about my roof replacement. On top of everything the claim was approved through insurance due to Acorn roofing communicating properly. Thanks again guys. Definitely recommend to anybody in Highland Village.

Came out and gave a free inspection. Very professional. While there, cleaned out vents. No hard sell on needing a new roof, now. Will call Acorn Roofing & Construction when we do replace roof.

Noah came to do an inspection on our roof and did fantastic! He took his time and explained everything to me, and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend Noah and Acorn roofing!

I have a leak showing in two places in our ceiling. We called Acorn one evening and they were here at 8:00 a.m. the next morning. The young man was incredibly attentive and determined to figure out what the problem was. He checked the roof but also the inside to determine if it was indeed the roof that was the problem. Not being absolutely sure, he didn’t recommend a new roof unlike what others might have done but he did seal a couple of areas to see if that takes care of the problem. That way we will be confident that the roof needs attention. Thank you so much Jack, you were a pleasure to meet and your customer service was above and beyond. In a world I might add where that’s tough to find. Thank you!

Just had my roof inspected for hail damage and I couldn't be more pleased with Acorns Roofing and Construction. Darius was extremely thorough with his inspection and educated me on what damages were present that I was unaware of. I recommend this company for any homeowner who needs their roof inspected. Ask for Darius

The company was fast and efficient. They replaced flashing and sealed around the chimneyy and other locations that the previous roofing company had neglected. Super polite and professional workers!

I obtained quotes from 3 different companies, as I always do on expensive projects. Not only did they come in the lowest, they were also extremely informative and helpful throughout the process. It didn’t just feel like a transaction. I could tell they cared about both, the job quality and also my ultimate approval. They cleaned up the yard after finishing the job and left it looking better than when they arrived! Will definitely be using them again in the future and referring to my friends. Thank you again Team Acorn, you rock! 🤗

Acorn Roofing is an excellent company to work with, Jack and his team are very professional and do amazing work. Highly recommend them!

During a recent storm we had a tree hit our home in Mesquite around 6am. We reached out to Acorn around 7:30am once we noticed the roof damage from the tree falling during the storm, and the job was repaired before lunch. Awesome experience!

Acorn roofing came out and inspected our roof and were very honest and said we didn’t need a new roof. Other roofers said we need a new roof and to contact insurance. Next time hail comes through the area I will reach out to them first.

This company (Noah Brunson) is nothing but kind courteous and very professional. They are very quick but also thorough as well. I would highly highly recommend them to do anyone’s roofing needs.
